Today I’m just going to share some photos I took on my phone of the Lock & Co X 007 launch party. The party was an intimate affair so I was very grateful to make the shortlist of VIPs invited to attend. In 2020 I spoke to Ben Dalrymple, managing director of Lock & Co. Hatters for the podcast. The release

The event showcased the entire collection of hats that have been reproduced from the James Bond movies. Although only 3 have been released to kick start the collaboration, you can find those on the 007 Store or through the Lock & Co Website.

Yet to come

The other hats to come feature the Sandown worn by Bond in Dr No. Green apparently, confirmed by a receipt of purchase in the archives. There will be a straw panama worn by Maud Adams in The Man with the Golden Gun there is also a flat cap styled on the one Daniel Craig wears in his personal life. I’m hoping to get Ben Dalrymple back on the podcast to talk about the collaboration. He was good enough to sign the book at the event and spoke graciously to the receptive attendees. Ben was quick to acknowledge that this isn’t only a great collaboration for Lock & Co, but also quite the coup for the James Bond brand. This is the first collaboration they have done in their 346 year history, the Bond franchise should feel pretty special about that.
