For this episode we covered minutes 85 & 86 of Casino Royale. Bond and Vesper finish up the shower. Apparently there was some dodgy finger sucking done here by Bond that did not go down well with women in previews. So it was digitally edited so Bond only sucked a couple of fingers.

I do not have an online reference to back that up. Although we do have Terry Bamber talking about an edit on a previous episode.

We make a lot of references to the Man From Milk Tray in this episode as there is a scene after the shower, where Bond is getting ready. The silhouette of him standing at the end of the hotel room before going out to meet Mathis is strikingly similar.

That worm hole unpicked a lot of intersections between Bond and the Man From Milk Tray. No less the stunts that were performed in the early adverts.

Rob then goes onto talk his favourite TV adverts of that era. And then the episode all goes to hell. But for the majority, it’s a riveting listen.

We also see Mathis and Bond enjoy a moment on the balcony where the bodies of Steven and his henchman are found in the boot of a car, framing one of Le Chiffre’s henchman Leo. More info can be found about him on Bond Fandom Wiki. Le Chiffre looks ruefully on through the drapes of his window, mopping away a blood tear.

Leo is an enforcer and bodyguard working for terroristic banker and Quantum associate Le Chiffre. A minor character, he was portrayed by French actor Emmanuel Avena.
