Johnson wore a light-gray suit as co-host of 2012’s CinemaCon. His suit choice was sleek and pressed, ready for his co-hosting duties. Central Intelligence, starring Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson, was released the same year the titular stars hosted the MTV Movie Awards. It was the first movie that the co-stars played in together before they worked on the Jumanji franchise and the DC: League of Super-Pets film in 2022
Johnson had a more casual style with multiple costumes for the 2016 MTV Music Awards. During a rap battle with co-host, Kevin Hart, Johnson wore a snug-fitting long-sleeve white top, black pants, and sneakers. The hosts also dressed as characters from Mad Max: Fury Road. Later in the awards ceremony, Johnson dressed as Superman alongside Hart’s Batman costume.
The Future of “The Rock”
The Rock will be starring in the lead role as Mark Kerr in The Smashing Machine releasing on October 3, 2025. He will reprise his role as Hobbs in Fast X: Part 2 set to release on April 10, 2026.
